Turmeric Tea for Inflammation Removal (and other health benefits)

What is turmeric?

Turmeric is a common Asian herb often referred to as the “Queen of Spices,” its main characteristic is its golden colour. Turmeric contains a wide range of antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-carcinogenic and anti-inflammatory properties.  Due to its active ingredient curcumin, turmeric is used in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s, arthritis, liver disease and cancer. It also aids in controlling diabetes and cholesterol levels.
